Sam Bailey grew up in Central Pennsylvania and is a Ph.D. student in Religion studying devotional Christian poetics at Harvard. His poetry has recently appeared or is forthcoming in The Yale Review, Colorado Review, Missouri Review, Best New Poets, Image, The Adroit Journal, Dialogist, The Boiler, Kismet, West Branch, and elsewhere. He is an associate editor of Peripheries and co-Editor-in-Chief of Mark: A Journal of Christian Poets.
